Attack on Dean

With the words ringing in their ears, George and Elaine start to worry that legal action could result in them losing the pub. And so, after seeking advice from Jack, Linda reluctantly tries to call a truce with Dean. But these efforts to calm matters fail and it’s left to Ian and Cindy to demand that Dean backs down, otherwise the business will never take off.
But during a heated stand-off upstairs at the Queen Vic, George lashes out at Dean, who topples down the stairs and ends up lying unconscious at the bottom. And, in the aftermath, Linda decides to take matters into her own hands when she discovers that George is on a suspended sentence and could go to prison if the truth comes out.
Priya kisses Nish
On Monday, Nish steps in to resolve an issue with Avani’s passport, the result of this intervention being Priya telling her daughter that she’ll make sure the Panesar patriarch loves having them around.
But when Priya then passionately kisses Nish, he’s left horrified – especially when he realises that both Suki and Vinny are stood in the doorway.
Suki’s momentous decision
Sticking with the Panesars, we’ll also see Suki cut deep when she sees Eve looking very happy while in the company of her new lady, Tessa.
With the pressure building, Suki eventually reveals all to Vinny about the depth of her unhappiness when it comes to her marriage to Nish. Vinny then tells his mum that if she wants to be with Eve, he won’t stand in her way. Eve, though, doesn’t want to go back to a closeted relationship now she’s got Tessa.
Struck by these words, Suki then decides to leave Nish and start a new life. After she writes a goodbye letter to Nish, Suki makes a last-minute plea to Eve that she come with her. But a torn Eve is advised by Stacey that she ought to look to the future with Tessa and not the past with Suki.
Sam’s dramatic comeback
Sam is back on Tuesday and bringing a whole load of aggro with her. In her comeback scene, Sam will be seen begging Phil for help because she owes a drug dealer a lot of cash. But Kat is furious that Phil is considering paying off her debts.
However, when Sam has a run-in with drug boss Camillo, who grabs her by the arm, Kat witnesses the showdown and rushes to get Phil who, faced with the prospect of his sister getting hurt, caves in and promises to raise the money.
In the midst of all these threats of violence, Sam also has to make amends with Ricky, who’s hurt that she’s been home several days and has not met Charli yet. Sam then insists her troubles are behind her and that Ricki and Charli will be her priorities. But when Ricky remains cold, Sam turns to Stacey to help her convince him.
EastEnders airs on BBC One Monday to Thursdays, and streams on iPlayer.
