Yahoo News EastEnders spoilers: Jay turns to drugs, Sharon drops bombshell news on Keanu
Jay is set to start using ketamine as a way of coping with his grief on EastEnders next week, while Sharon has major news for Keanu that leaves Karen cooking up a plan.
Plus Nugget gets in touch with Ravi, and Rocky’s trips to the bookmaker start getting out of hand.

Jay scores ketamine
After waking up at Nadine’s, Jay spies a bag of ketamine on her bedside table. Her explanation? That it helps her cope and could help him too. And so, in scenes to be shown on Monday, Jay ends up scoring drugs from Nadine.

The following day, Callum catches Jay once again heading to Nadine’s. But when Jay tries to make excuses, he accidentally drops the bag of ketamine, which Callum spots, realisation dawning for him that Jay is on drugs. And although Jay implores him not to, Callum insists he’s telling Ben.
In the aftermath of this showdown, Ben has his say on the matter and tells Callum that Jay ought to see a counsellor. Callum then tries to broach the issue with Jay, but the pair merely end up arguing over Nadine, before Jay heads out to score again…
Will Sharon leave for Abu Dhabi?
Over a drink, boxing promoter Dorian tells Sharon there’s a job for her just waiting in Abu Dhabi and that she should jump at the chance. Sharon, for her part, is definitely tempted.
After this chat, Keanu notices Dorian giving Sharon some flowers and so decides to take Albie out for the day without running it by her. Karen then takes great delight in refusing to tell Sharon where they’ve gone – a course of action that results in a huge argument once Keanu finally returns.
On Thursday, Keanu apologises to Sharon but insists they need a third-party arbitrator when they discuss Albie’s childcare arrangements. But at a subsequent meeting with a solicitor, Sharon ends up dropping a bombshell on Keanu and Karen. Stung by the confrontation, Karen then comes up with a plan, but what does she have in mind?
Nugget contacts Ravi
After the police find Nugget’s mobile phone in the canal, Ravi is told that they’ll now dredge the water to look for clues. Suki, meanwhile, secretly gets in touch with Nugget and asks him to let Ravi know he’s alive.
When Ravi then receives that text from Nugget, Vinny will be seen suggesting that Ravi go to the police as they may be able to track his location. But a disappointed Ravi is left believing he’s back at square one after the police tell him this could be a hoax.
Following all this, Denzel holds a vigil for Nugget in the Square gardens, which all his friends attend. And while Ravi dismisses the event as pointless, Suki and Vinny are of the opinion that it could bring Nugget back to Walford.
Rocky’s big gamble
Rocky is left having to stall Kathy when she quizzes him as to why his share of the loan repayments isn’t in her account. Thinking on his feet, Rocky lies that Jay forgot to do the wages, but secretly heads to the bookies to win the cash.
Harvey, though, is a witness to these actions and confronts him about the betting, but Rocky laughs it off and claims it’s merely a bit of fun. But good fortune on the horses leads to Dorian suggesting to Rocky that betting on the boxing night will make him some serious cash.
Thursday’s drama then sees George giving Rocky a tip that results in him laying some serious money down on the fight. And when Harvey berates him for breaking a promise he’s made not to make any more bets, Rocky dismisses these concerns.
