EastEnders spoilers: Peter Beale rushes back to Walford, Anna contacts Cindy
Thomas Law returns to EastEnders as Peter Beale after a 13-year absence next week, plus Anna’s call to her mum creates problems, while Phil tries to help Alfie with medical matters.
And Eve heads to the police to report Caz but is set to be disappointed.

Anna contacts her mum
Anna finally tells George, Gina and Elaine that she now has her mum’s phone number. But George snaps and reveals he’s had this information for years and that she doesn’t want to be found.

Later on, though, Elaine convinces George and Gina that it’s only natural Anna would want to reach out to her mum. And so, finally, Anna does ultimately decide to contact the woman she knows as Rose and leaves a message, explaining that she’s in Walford and misses her every day.
Peter returns to Walford
Bobby discovers that Kathy is selling the chippy, but after failing to reach her while she’s on her honeymoon, he decides to call Peter…

Peter is, of course, in France. And he’ll be seen on Tuesday intercepting the text from Anna on Cindy’s phone, learning in the process that he has two sisters. Ian will be seen pleading with Peter not to talk to Cindy, but Peter then shocks his dad when he reveals he’s booked onto the Eurostar that night.
Once back in town, Peter vows to help Bobby to turn the chippy into a success, so that Kathy will decide not to sell. But he also takes the opportunity to secretly spy on Gina and Anna…
Cindy’s big decision
Meanwhile, back in France, Cindy is telling Ian that she’s going to Walford to collect Peter following his decision to head over to London.
But knowing that George and the girls are living on the Square, Ian convinces her to not to leave and insists instead that he’ll make Peter come home.
Theo wants to get rid of Eve
After Eve’s recent discoveries about her sister’s death, she decides to go to the police with this new information but is told that the case is now closed as Caz has served her time. But this doesn’t stop Eve from deciding to confront Caz later on that day outside the Albert.
Luckily, Stacey intervenes and takes a shaken Caz back to No 31, where she hopes to defuse the situation. But spying an opportunity to get Eve out of the picture, Theo meddles and encourages Caz to herself go to the police.
Martin, meanwhile, returns from Bulgaria – and Eve is soon filling him in on Stacey’s stalker…
Phil has advice for Alfie
Phil wants Alfie to open up about his health troubles and invites him along to a kick about with the boys. But Alfie resists questioning about his upcoming MRI – all of which leads to Phil telling him that he needs to take his medical worries seriously for the sake of the kids.
As the week progresses, Phil continues to put pressure on Alfie and reveals that he himself is going to get his prostate checked as his dad Eric died from prostate cancer. And so, eventually, the two guys both head to the hospital, Alfie grateful to Phil for his support.
Yolande’s ex arrives
Despite being clearly smitten with Patrick, it’s clear that Yolande is hiding something. And secrets look to be in danger of being spilled when her ex-lover Anton arrives and ends up fighting with Patrick.
Following the scrap, Anton insists that Yolande is leaving with him and tells her he wants to forgive and forget.
But how will Yolande react when she’s told she has until the following day to come back?
