Charity and Mack get passionate
The day of the Christening is Thursday and Mack and Chloe have the godparents in place: Moira, Amy and Matty. But the plans hit a snag when the venue falls through. Charity’s genuine offer to host the event at the Woolpack is initially met with laughter from Chloe. But with the options limited, Mack eventually humbly accepts.
However, in a charged moment, Mack and Charity find themselves in a passionate embrace, which leaves them both feeling a little embarrassed. Mack then hastily leaves and is left feeling even more guilty when, once home, Chloe expresses her appreciation for his efforts when it comes to the Christening.
Mack ultimately decides to confide his concerns in Moira, who reminds him of the potential consequences should Chloe find out. Charity, meanwhile, is privately telling Chas that she slept with Mack. As the day of the Christening dawns, what decision will Mack make about his future?
Sam feels threatened by newcomer Craig
Lydia is reconnecting with Craig and catching up on their lives following the time they spent in the children’s home. But Sam is feeling intimated due to Craig’s wealth – and the fact that Samson is in awe of the guy’s impressive car.
Samson then discovers that Craig is responsible for one of his favourite phone games and asks Lydia if she can arrange some work experience for him. But when Craig agrees, poor Sam starts to feel increasingly insignificant by comparison.
And by the week’s end, Sam will feel pushed out further when Craig decides to fix some guttering that he’s overlooked. Can anything be done to help Sam when it comes to feeling overshadowed?

And as Jai pleads with Manpreet, she grows outraged when it turns out that Charles doesn’t support her when it comes to this particular matter…
