'EastEnders' spoilers: Whitney in danger after Gray's killer past is revealed, plus Kim decides to leave

Whitney discovers that Gray is a murderer, Kim is heading to Scotland, and Janine makes a play for Mick.

Whitney realises that Gray is a killer

Whitney is determined to expose Gray for the evildoer he is, but finds herself increasingly isolated. Even Kheerat, who previously has made no secret of his animosity for the man, is seen defending him in Monday’s episode.

In an increasingly desperate state, Whit then tries to convince Chelsea not to go through with her wedding. But the bride-to-be just thinks that she’s angling for an invite and ends up asking her along.

But on Christmas Eve, Whitney finally makes a breakthrough and uncovers the truth about some of Gray’s despicable deeds. As realisation dawns, Whit comes to the shocking conclusion that the psychopathic solicitor killed Chantelle. And armed with the proof she needs, Whitney decides to stop Gray’s upcoming nuptials and reveal exactly what happened.

Kim packs her bags

Meanwhile, Walford’s other Christmas bride Denise is getting emotional and letting sister Kim know how much it would mean to have her there on her special day.

But after weighing up her options, Kim tells her kids that they’re going back to Scotland. An oblivious Denise will then be seen on Thursday excitedly telling Chelsea of her hopes that Kim may come to the ceremony. But, at that very moment, Kim is putting her plan to leave Walford into action.

Janine has Mick in her sights

Mick and Janine are fast becoming a force to be reckoned with behind the bar of the Queen Vic, with their latest idea being an event called Best Spouse in the ‘Ouse. But as the plan is put into action, Mick realises that he hasn’t yet bought presents for the kids at this Christmas do. Don’t worry, Janine tells him, she’s sorted things with Billy.

Yet while she’s busy making herself indispensable, Janine finds that her attempts to attract Mick aren’t exactly paying off, not even when she dresses provocatively as Santa’s Little Helper.

Nancy is amused to see that Mick is ignoring Janine’s flirtatious behaviour. But might Janine be tempted to up the ante when she overhears the Queen Vic landlord on the phone and realises that he’s not going to be spending the festive season with Linda?

Zack is feeling guilty

Phil informs Sharon that his private investigator has had no luck in trying to track down Jada. And in an attempt to conceal the guilt he feels over her abrupt departure, Zack heads to the Vic and drowns his sorrows.

But after Zack admits to Nancy that it’s his fault Jada has gone, she accidentally reveals all to Martin, who threatens to put Sharon in the picture…

Will Rocky’s duplicity be revealed?

It was only ever a matter of time before Rocky’s letter to Sonia resurfaced – and it looks as though Stuart will be the one to find that scrawled confession on Christmas Eve.

He’s round at Sonia’s to fix her broken oven, but while doing so, he chances upon a note with Sonia’s name on it and hands it over. Realising what it is, Rocky freezes – are his underhanded activities about to be exposed?
