EastEnders star Heather Peace pays tribute to co-stars after Eve twist

EastEnders spoilers follow from Thursday's BBC iPlayer episode (November 30) follow.

EastEnders star Heather Peace has paid a loving tribute to co-stars Navin Chowdhry and Aaron Thiara following this week's huge Eve Unwin twist.

The recent scenes on the BBC One soap saw Nish Panesar (Navin) finally discover Suki and Eve's affair, subsequently coercing Ravi (Aaron) into helping him kill Eve.

After setting a trap for Eve, Nish got Ravi to help him take her to the woods, though after Eve's pleas, Ravi decided to spare her, instead telling her to disappear from Walford and never return.

He then falsely told Nish that he had killed her, while upcoming scenes will explore Suki's heartbreak after learning that Eve has disappeared.

Heather has now shared some behind-the-scenes pictures from filming the scenes with Navin and Aaron, showing the trio in good spirits as she praised her "wonderful" co-stars.

"Happier times in between takes in the car boot!" the star wrote. "Two wonderful fellas that I had the privilege to work with on this week’s episodes.

"I know it’s hard to get into the headspace playing a villainous role, particularly if you’re as sweet as this pair! I think they both needed a cuddle more than me tbf @bbceastenders #TheSix #suki #sukeve #eve #Nish #Ravi".

Navin shared a series of red heart emojis in the comments.

Heather also shared a behind-the-scenes featurette for the woods-based scenes, which show her and Aaron joking around between takes.

The actress took to Instagram earlier this week to reflect on the storyline, writing: "Suki’s story has resonated with so many from what I’ve seen. The representation has meant a lot too through Eve presenting the way she does. So many thanks to the writers and producers for playing this story out in real time.

"It’s been a precious thing, certainly for me, having not seen a love story like this when I was growing up. I feel blessed to have worked alongside so many beautiful actors too who also care about storytelling."

EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.
