EastEnders' Vincent To Father Foster Sister Donna’s Child?

Donna Yates appeared to put her desire to have a baby on hold after she learned that her foster mother Claudette was a callous murderer, but it looks like the EastEnders’ favourite is set to reprise her dreams of motherhood in coming episodes.

And with Fatboy out of the question she has another man in mind for the father…

Yes, the bolshie market stall holder, played by Lisa Hammond, is set to ask her own foster brother Vincent Hubbard, aka Richard Blackwood, to help her make a baby.

We mean, we know they’re not blood-related but isn’t that a little bit weird?

Lisa shared: “Vincent is shocked! He knew Donna wanted a child and was seriously looking into making it happen. The big surprise, however, is that she’s asking him to help her. He certainly isn’t anticipating it!”

However, Vincent eventually comes rounds to the idea and sets off to get his wife Kim’s permission, with the couple already being mum and dad to the gorgeous baby Pearl.

Lisa added to Inside Soap magazine: “Donna looks around at the men in her life and sees how Vincent is with Pearl. She loves the way he is with his daughter, and regardless of some of the other things he might get up to, Donna believes he would always be there for her, no matter what.

"Kim loses it! She thinks it’s a ridiculous suggestion, and after considering all the logistics involved, she realises it would mean she’d be forced into some kind of relationship with Donna and they’ve never been best of friends.”

As the old saying goes, watch this space - although a baby whose dad is also its uncle isn’t exactly anything new in Albert Square…
