Ebenezer POOCH: No one hates Christmas as much as this Siberian husky

Despite all the food and time off, not everyone is a fan of Christmas – but they don’t come more Grinch-like than this Siberian husky.

Anuko has the face of a true grump in a series of festive photos taken by his owner Jasmine Milton, refusing to look happy for the camera.

Even at the most magical time of the year when he is decked in a scarf and antlers, and is frolicking in the snow, Anuko finds it impossible to crack a smile.

The pooch was adopted by Jasmine, 20, when he was just eight-weeks-old and his owner claims he’s always had a grumpy face.

Jasmine, from Telford, Shropshire, said: “He’s always had a pretty moody face since he was a puppy – but believe it or not he’s a very gentle and quiet dog.

“He’s kind and he’s never so much as growled at anybody – just a relaxed, lazy but cool type of dog who can’t be bothered for my shenanigans.

“He likes Christmas in terms of the cold – but not when it comes to decorations he can’t touch, food he can’t eat, and me putting him in clothes.

“He’s on the naughty list this year, however. All of his Christmas presents were cancelled and instead paid for an expensive dental surgery – as he fractured his tooth by chewing too hard on an antler my brother found in the woods.”

Anuko was just five-weeks-old when he met Jasmine, who adopted him to help with her mental health, and despite the dog’s moody looks, the pair quickly became inseparable.

Jasmine added: “I got Anuko shortly after being diagnosed with depression amongst other mental health problems.

“I got him for emotional support, to give me a meaning to life and to encourage me to get out of bed in the morning.

“When I got him I had no guidance in my life – but now I’ve pulled myself together and I’m applying for veterinary school this year!”
