Comedian Ed Gamble has married his girlfriend Charlie Jamison after their wedding was postponed three times due to the Covid pandemic.

The TV funnyman tied the knot with producer lover at Hesdor House in Buckinghamshire in front of comedian friends including James Acaster and Nish Kumar.

The bride, 28, posted a picture from the wedding in which she wore ballgown by the designer Angelina Colarusso.

Among the comments, Joel Dommett’s wife Hannah Cooper wrote: “So frikkin beautiful guys!!! Love to you both’, while designer Coco Fennell wrote: ‘Yey gorgeous! Congratulations.”

Comic Josh Widdecome shared snaps from wedding. He wrote: “Absolutely amazing celebrating the marriage of these two brilliant people (and interrupting their photoshoot.)”

It was a beautiful day for the couple who have been together for 11 wonderful years.

Ever the romantic, Mr Gamble popped the question while on holiday in Japan in October 2018.

The Taskmaster star had a bespoke ring designed especially by one of his wife’s friends who is a jeweller.

Their wedding was postponed on three times because of the pandemic while the couple had initially planned to get married in 2020.

In January, Mr Gamble tweeted: “I always knew I’d have to cancel 3 weddings, I just never thought they’d all be to the same woman.”

Previously, the married couple said they were planning on taking each other’s surnames and middle names.

Mr Gamble has had a busy week; he has also been unveiled as one of the new judges on Great British Menu.
