Workers at a popular Potteries eatery must have known the menu would take a real battering when Eddie Hall turned up in a huge tank. And the renowned strongman had an equally big pal with him during the trip to Captain Kooks, in Burslem.

But the Sandbach Road venue would surely have been confident of meeting the needs of Eddie and Tuna Tavus, a strongman who, just like the Clayton big man, completes scores of gut-busting food challenges on his YouTube channel. As regular customers know the delicious menu is extensive and portions always generous.

The duo's trip has not yet been fully broadcast with Eddie uploading a photo of the two of them to his Instagram account with the caption 'breakfast time'. Meanwhile Captain Kooks put a picture on its Facebook page and wrote 'Eddie Hall arriving in style' as staff hopped aboard the tank.

Eddie's no stranger to pushing the limit when it comes to how much he can eat. When he's not taking part in feats of strength, or winning a two-on-one MMA fight, The Beast is trying out a whole range of dishes - and portion sizes.

Such is his love of food he fronted Eddie Eats America, Eddie Eats Christmas, and also appeared in Couples Come Dine With Me.
