Eddie Redmayne And Hannah Bagshawe Welcome A Baby Girl

Congratulations and a hamper of baby gifts are in order for Eddie Redmayne and Hannah Bagshawe, who have welcomed their first child together.

The couple, who tied the knot at private members’ club Babington House in Somerset in December 2014, welcomed a baby girl named Iris Mary Redmayne on Wednesday last week (June 15).

Confirming the news, a spokesperson told the MailOnline: “I can confirm that Eddie and Hannah Redmayne have welcomed their first child.”

The gorgeous pair announced that they were expecting their first child together in January, with Eddie later telling PEOPLE at the Oscars: “I’m excited. But I don’t think it’s sunk in yet.

“We just bought our first baby book. So there’s the first step. We’re waiting to find out [the sex]. We want to be surprised. It will be a big surprise either way! I figure part of it I’ll get from the book and part will be just instinct.”

Speaking to E! News at the SAG Awards, he added: “We have this sort of dream of like wooden toys, and all that, and everyone’s like, ‘Yeah you always start off like that, but you end up with like iPhones!'”
