Edinburgh man, 34, missing as police launch hunt amid 'concern for welfare'

Police have launched an urgent appeal for help tracing a missing Edinburgh man.

Wayne Affleck, 34, was last seen in Northfield on June 14. Officers have said there is "concern for his welfare" and he has links throughout the city.

He was described as slim, five foot five, with short dark hair. He was last seen wearing a black Nike tracksuit and white cloud trainers.

Police Scotland said: "We are appealing for your help to trace Wayne Affleck (34) who is missing from the Northfield area of Edinburgh.

"There is concern for his welfare and he has links throughout Edinburgh. He is slim build, 5ft5 dark short hair, all black Nike tracksuit, white cloud trainers."

Anyone with information is urged to call 101, quoting incident number 0468 of June 14.
