Edinburgh neighbourhood pub hits the market in search of new landlord

An opportunity has arisen to take over a local pub located in an Edinburgh neighbourhood.

The Bonnington has been listed available on Star Pubs with the previous tenants looking to pass the venue on to someone interested in entering the hospitality and pubs industry.

Located on Bonnington Road, the pub is described as being "well maintained and decorated" with two rooms available for drinking and dining. An annual rent of £25,406 is being asked for the venue "just a stones throw away" from Leith.

Edinburgh Live previously reported that the pub sadly closed just weeks after launching a new menu at the end of February. It's understood that the business is a branch of Star Pubs who lease it and they were told that the previous tenants made the decision to close up the shop, leaving locals gutted.
