Tributes have been paid to an elderly couple who left behind seven children and 15 grandchildren after they died in a car crash in Wales.

Michael and Mary McDonald, 86 and 78, died from injuries sustained in the three-car crash, which also saw three other people - including two children - taken to hospital.

It happened near the village of Cross Hands in Pembrokeshire just before 5.30pm on Tuesday.

The family of the elderly couple, who were originally from Birmingham but had lived in Tenby since 1982, said the "much-loved parents" also had seven great grandchildren and would be "sadly missed by all".
