Who is Ella Purnell? The actress who Brad Pitt is ‘dating after Angelina Jolie’

Brad Pitt is reportedly dating British actress Ella Purnell, a year after splitting from Angelina Jolie.

The Hollywood star, 53, is said to be “enchanted” by Purnell, 21, who once played the younger version of Jolie in Disney’s Maleficent.

They met on the set of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children in 2016, according to reports, with Pitt allegedly casting her in his upcoming Starz series Sweetbitter.

“Brad had Ella in mind from the get-go. He went out of his way to cast her,” a source told In Touch.

“Ella is incredibly flattered by all the attention she's getting from Brad. She's told friends he's always been her No. 1 celebrity crush.”

Jolie is said to be furious with the alleged relationship, with the source adding: “She absolutely hates that Brad is cavorting with someone who played the teenage version of her in a film.”

Purnell has accrued a handful of film titles to her name after landing her first acting role in the musical Oliver! in 2008 following a stint at the Sylvia Young Theatre School.

She made her film debut in Never Let Me Go alongside fellow British star Keira Knightley in 2010.

Since then she has enjoyed roles in Intruders, Kick Ass 2 and most recently Churchill in which she starred alongside Brian Cox and Miranda Richardson.

A representative for Purnell declined to comment.
