Eminem has lashed out at Netflix for cancelling The Punisher.

The rapper expressed his frustration with the streaming service’s decision to swing the axe on its remaining Marvel television shows, including Jessica Jones, on Monday (18 February).

“You are blowing it,” the “Lose Yourself” musician tweeted in protest of the decision.

Following the news, Jeph Loeb – executive vice president of Marvel television – shared a touching open letter, reflecting upon the success of the shows, which also included Daredevil, Iron Fist and Luke Cage.

He also hinted that the shows could be resurrected in some manner.

The third season of Jessica Jones will still be released on the streaming service this year, although no release date has been announced.

Fans believe the shows could return on Disney’s new streaming service, Disney+.

Marvel Studios is owned by Disney and currently has several exclusive shows heading to the service, including ones centred on Vision and Scarlet Witch, Bucky and Falcon, and Tom Hiddleston’s Loki
