Emma Raducanu’s huge net worth and romance with billionaire's son

Emma Raducanu is back on the Wimbledon courts, aiming to become the first British woman in nearly 50 years to clinch a singles victory there.

The 21-year-old has already made her mark as the most successful British female tennis player in recent history, following her meteoric rise to fame with her extraordinary win at the 2021 US Open. Despite starting the tournament as a relatively unknown qualifier, Raducanu shocked the tennis world by securing the trophy just weeks into her full professional career.

Her historic victory broke numerous records, as she became the first ever qualifier to win a Grand Slam title and the first British woman since Virginia Wade's Wimbledon triumph in 1977. At just 18, she was also the youngest Grand Slam champion since Maria Sharapova in 2004.

Naturally, winning the title transformed Raducanu's life in more ways than one, turning her into an overnight sensation and the golden girl of global tennis. She quickly graced the covers of newspapers and magazines, was named BBC's Sports Personality of the Year, and even received an MBE for her contributions to the sport.

Endorsement deals soon followed, with Raducanu becoming an ambassador for luxury brands such as Dior, Tiffany and Porsche, as well as companies like HSBC, Vodafone and British Airways. She has also inked deals with Nike, Wilson and Evian and has featured in advertisements for Sports Direct, reports Wales Online.

In addition to her career winnings, which are just over £3 million, Raducanu, according to the Sunday Times Rich List, has an estimated net worth of about £10 million. Indicatively, Forbes ranked her as the sixth highest-paid tennis player worldwide last year.

Nevertheless, larger fortunes are predicted for the British sensation, with industry insiders forecasting that she may eventually be worth more than £100 million should she maintain the success record witnessed in 2021. A prominent sports agent remarked to MailOnline after her US Open victory: "She can easily earn £100 million or more. The sky's the limit."

However, when it comes to wealth, Raducanu's boyfriend Carlo Agostinelli, son of billionaire Robert Agostinelli, who amassed his massive wealth as chairman and co-founder of Rhone Groups private equity firm, greatly overshadows her. The younger Agostinelli is a budding footballer who had a three-month stint with Tottenham Hotspur before shifting to the US to represent Stanford University.

The pair are believed to have begun seeing each other in May 2023 and were spotted together on several trips, including attending Dior's 2024 Cruise show in Mexico. Their relationship was confirmed when they were seen strolling arm-in-arm and smiling together at Paris Fashion Week.

It seems the pair have decided to part ways, as evidenced by the tennis ace unfollowing Agostinelli on social media just before Wimbledon. Raducanu has been open in the past about her parents' strict 'boyfriend ban' during her younger years to maintain her focus on tennis.

"My parents were very much against [boyfriends] as it interfered with training," she told The Times. "When I was younger, I wasn't even allowed to hang out with my girl friends.

"A lot of the time, I was very resentful. But it made me very confident and comfortable in my own company, which is also a big strength."
