Emmanuel Macron 'Dabs' During First Public Appearance Since Re-election

French President Emmanuel Macron was seen “dabbing” in Cergy, France, on April 27 during his first public appearance since being re-elected on Sunday.

Footage recorded by Gwendoline Bonnet de Bain shows Macron in a crowd of people in Cergy on Wednesday. He is seen waving to the crowd before briefly raising one arm and tucking his head into the crook of the opposite elbow in the classic “dab” motion.

The visit to Cergy, Macron’s first public appearance since winning a second term in office on Sunday, received international attention after the president was hit by tomatoes while meeting voters at a market. Credit: Gwendoline Bonnet de Bain via Storyful
