Emmerdale fans not happy as Moira 'mistake' goes out on air

A number of Emmerdale fans have voiced their disappointment as a Moira Dingle "mistake" was broadcast in Thursday's episode.

The latest instalment of the long-running ITV soap saw Moira and her brother Mackenzie Boyd take Samson Dingle back to Butler's Farm. The desperate mum wanted to convince him to tell the police the truth after Samson framed her son Matty Barton for stabbing him.

Matty's spell in prison has gone from bad to worse this week as he has been left in hospital.

As Moira and Mackenzie told Samson of the hell Matty has been through, and put more and more pressure on him to help Matty, Samson confessed as to what really happened, that his friend Josh was really the one to blame.

And while some fans were thrilled Samson finally told the truth, many thought Moira had missed an opportunity. On X, Angie said: "Huge mistake Moira not recording Samson then".

Anthony said: "Moira had every opportunity to record Samson's confession and didn't do it. UGHHHH" [sic]. Tara said: "Mack and Moira should record what Samson says to prove he's a liar" and Sue said: "You're wasting your breath on Samson Moira".
