Emmerdale fans stunned by 'Who Killed Emma?' reveal
Tonight Emmerdale revealed the answer to the question that's been haunting the Dales over the last few months – who killed Emma Barton?
After a dramatic double bill set over Emma's funeral, the soap kept viewers guessing one last time as each of the seven official suspects had more secrets exposed or alibis unearthed, but ultimately it was Moira Dingle who was revealed to have done the deed.
Over the episodes, viewers saw that Ross Barton (Michael Parr) had told Emma (Gillian Kearney) to jump from the viaduct – but he didn't cause her death.

Instead, Emma was left torn between her desire to jump and her fear that suicide was a sin, so when Moira (Natalie J Robb) found her on the viaduct and tried to talk her down, Emma deliberately taunted Moira until the farmer pushed her off, absolving Emma of the sin of killing herself and leaving Moira as the murderer.
