Yahoo News Emmerdale to finally reveal Liam's secret
Emmerdale will resolve the Liam Cavanagh mystery tonight (July 19) as viewers finally discover what the secretive doctor has been hiding.
The show has spent weeks teasing a potential dark side to Liam (Jonny McPherson), leaving his partner Bernice Blackstock terrified that he could be a serial killer.
Friday night's visit to the Dales will see the situation come to a head, as Bernice (Samantha Giles) becomes consumed by paranoia that Liam is planning to bump her off.
Following the strange discovery of a bloodied shirt and scalpel in Liam's briefcase, Bernice spots even more clues which appear to suggest that he's up to no good.

When Bernice consults with her sister Nicola King, who's been fuelling her suspicions and theories for weeks, she receives some wise advice to avoid being left alone with Liam.
Sadly, that proves impossible when Liam spontaneously takes Bernice out for a mysterious trip in his car – another highly suspicious move.
Liam drives Bernice along to the woods, unaware that Nicola and her husband Jimmy are in hot pursuit and concerned for her safety.
The showdown that follows sees the truth about Liam finally revealed – does he have a dark secret or has Bernice made her biggest relationship blunder yet?
Emmerdale airs tonight at 7pm on ITV.
