Next week on Emmerdale: Gabby impresses Kim, Charity slaps Noah, plus Luke confesses (spoilers)
Kim thinks she’s found an ally in Gabby. Plus Noah makes a strange request of Samson, and Luke comes clean to Victoria. It’s all your Emmerdale spoilers for the 8th to 12th of February 2021:
The battle for Home Farm
I imagine that Kim Tate must have a secret whiteboard on which she keeps track of all her grudges and feuds. Otherwise, how would she ever be able to remember who she’s supposed to hate and why? She seems to spend her entire time giving people evil side eye and looking as though she’s prising a recalcitrant toffee from the side of her mouth.
Why anyone would want to get embroiled in her machinations is a mystery, but it seems that young Gabby is set to become a pretender to the throne.

After she schemes to get poor Dawn the sack, Gabby finds herself on the radar of Kim, who spies a potential protege. But with Gabby plotting to both seize power and get her mitts on Home Farm heir Jamie, might Kim find herself usurped?
Noah’s big deception
It’s a soap first: a cliffhanger involving dodgy urine! In a plotline that I’m going to call ‘Pee-gate’, wannabe military recruit Noah is to ask Samson to provide a sample so that he can pass the army medical. The reason for the subterfuge stems from the fact that Noah now has a weakened kidney as a result of his drugs overdose the other year.
The trouble is that Samson then has second thoughts about the request Noah has made of him and confesses all to Charity, who alerts the assessment centre. Needless to say, Noah loses his rag when he realises that his mum has interfered and lashes out.
Making reference to the, ahem, rocky start he had in life, Noah tells Charity that his life would have been better had she sold him forever. All of which leads to Charity slapping Noah – and losing any chance she had of winning a Mum of the Year award.

But as Charity hits a new low, who should be there to break her fall but Al. Following an evening spent drowning her sorrows, might she end up being a new notch on Al’s well-whittled bedpost?
Will Matty lie to Amy?
Matty will find his date with Amy coming under threat thanks to the secret he’s keeping about Kyle. The fact that he’s remaining schtum is making Matty over-anxious, especially when a menacing Cain reminds him that he needs to keep quiet.
In the end, he and Amy do manage to enjoy their evening out together. But Matty ultimately decides that he can’t withhold the truth any longer and reveals all about what happened regarding Kyle, Jamie and that petrol can…
Luke makes a confession
Pairing Victoria up with the brother of her rapist did initially strain credulity. But just when she and Luke had managed to convince us that theirs was a relationship in which we could emotionally invest, along came revelations about his gay past.
What we’ll see next is Luke making a big show of being loved up with Victoria in front of Ethan. But when Ethan gives Luke some food for thought, he decides to tell Victoria that they need to talk. Expect luckless Vic to be left slack jawed with shock when Luke confesses that he slept with a man.
