Emmerdale icon Debbie Dingle's return ‘sealed’ as Belle Dingle takes a stand

Emmerdale has been full of shock exits and now many fans are left wondering if a familiar face may be making a return to the village after the latest spoiler.

During an upcoming episode, Debbie Dingle gets mentioned as Belle Dingle plans a reunion with her auntie. She might make a comeback and potentially be the one to save Belle amid her tumultuous marriage with abusive husband Tom.

As viewers know Tom has been abusing wife Belle since they got together. Since then Belle has been sticking by his side but it appears as though she has started to see his true colours.

Next week's things will take a chilling turn for Belle as she attempts to flee the village and escape from Tom. Belle finally acknowledges the severity of Tom’s abusive behaviour after a conversation with her Mental Health Care Coordinator, Rachel.

Rachel advises Belle to distance herself from Tom, seemingly recognising the extent of his manipulative actions, Express reports. Belle decides to pack her bags and seek refuge in Scotland with Debbie.

However, an unexpected twist involving Tom's potential demise could halt her plans. If Belle reconsiders her decision, it could prompt Debbie to visit the village to check on her, or perhaps the mere mention of her name suggests that Debbie is poised for a return.

Debbie Dingle actress Charley Webb left the soap in 2021 but there is room for a potential return as her presence is still felt on the show, with her daughter Sarah Sugden living with Debbie's mother, Charity Dingle. Neither the soap nor actress Charley have confirmed a return, so it may just be a mention for now.

Elsewhere, Things are not looking good for Tom as he lashes out after discovering the truth about Belle's abortion.

The couple were planning to have a baby together but after thinking it through Belle decided to have an abortion but she lied to Tom and claimed that it was a miscarriage.

This will lead to Tom having an uncontrollable fit of rage where he starts swinging an iron bar around a barn. His anger leads him into serious danger and he ends up lifeless on the floor.
