Emmerdale is lining up a huge revenge story for Leyla Harding once the truth about Pete and Priya's affair is exposed.
Pete (Anthony Quinlan) is currently cheating on his fiancée Leyla with her best friend Priya, but as always in Soapland, his infidelity won't stay secret for long.
Pete is due to marry Leyla in a must-see double bill on Thursday (August 17) but fans are now wondering whether he'll pull out of the ceremony at the last minute – or even get exposed as a love cheat on the day.
Viewers will have to wait and see whether the truth comes out at the wedding or not, but whatever happens, Leyla won't be in the dark for much longer.
Speaking to TV Times, show boss Ian MacLeod said: "Leyla has got used to men treating her badly, but Priya was her best friend, and the betrayal she feels from her outstrips her rage for Pete.
"Once the initial heartache has given vent, it starts to harden into anger, and there's some really fun stuff in terms of how she goes about exacting her revenge."
Sounds exciting – and we are sure Corrie's Eva would be happy to give Leyla some tips when the time comes...
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
