Yahoo News Emmerdale reveals new twist for Victoria Barton as a mysterious stranger arrives
Emmerdale's Victoria Barton is set for more upset when a mysterious stranger arrives in the village.
Victoria was raped by Lee Posner last month during the show's Big Night Out episodes, and she's since been told that police won't be pursuing the case.
This will eventually lead to Robert Sugden and Aaron Dingle seeking revenge against Lee in upcoming episodes.
But that's not all, as actress Isabel Hodgins, who plays Victoria, has told What's On TV that Victoria will soon be visited by a mysterious stranger who will further complicate matters for her.
“There’s no let up for Victoria this summer,” Isabel said.
“Things are about to get a lot more difficult for her. The newcomer is set to put the cat amongst the pigeons, that’s for sure!"
Later this week, Robert and Aaron will go to visit Lee at the car dealership where he works, believing that they can get him to confess.
But when things don't go their way, the couple take matters further, putting up posters condemning Lee as a rapist and inadvertently leading to even more trouble for Victoria.
Emmerdale currently airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with extra episodes at 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
