Emmerdale spoilers: Aaron’s exit revealed, aftermath of storm revealed
First, we had the storm, now we get the salvage operation. But as the clean-up begins, there are secrets still to be revealed.
It’s aftermath week on Emmerdale, so here are all your spoilers for 24-28 October 2022.
Aaron to leave Emmerdale already?
Fans of Danny Miller shouldn’t perhaps get too used to him being back on Emmerdale, as Chas is trying to convince her son Aaron to leave the village – just so her affair with Al can remain a secret.
What we’ll witness is Aaron being urged by Paddy to hash things out with Chas, and Aaron reluctantly agreeing to do so. But when Aaron accuses his mum of still being with Al, she vehemently denies it and ends up emotionally blackmailing him into backing down.

Soon, there’s relief for Chas when she manages to manipulate Aaron into deciding to leave the village. But she’s left having to cover her feelings about the matter when Paddy expresses his sorrow at the news that Aaron will be departing. Paddy, though, will also start to suspect that something doesn’t stack up about the situation between mother and son…
Al wants to halt Kerry’s marriage plan
A rattled Al, meanwhile, is trying to slow down Kerry, who has this driving need to push forward with their wedding plans.
What she fails to realise, of course, is that Al has no intention of marrying her. In fact, what Al is secretly doing behind Kerry’s back is assuring Chas that they’ll run away together soon. But what’s the betting that their duplicity is exposed before they get to exit?
Arguments in the village as the clear-up campaign begins
The damage done by the storm needs to be dealt with – enter Bernice, who organises a group of locals to help clear up the village. The trouble is, her newly appointed deputy Bob soon starts to feel put upon.
As you might have predicted, it’s Bernice’s bossiness that’s rubbing Bob up the wrong way. She, though, is in her element as she rules operations with a rod of iron. But will Bob lead a coup to knock Bernice off her perch?
Pregnant Chloe is looking for the exit
Pregnant Chloe is feeling isolated, but dad-to-be Mackenzie is just worried about the secret of their one-night stand being revealed. And Mack’s fears look set to intensify in the week to come when he spots Charity in conversation with Chloe.
Later in the week, Chloe decides that her future lies away from the village and announces to a bereft Kerry that she’s going to move away to Leeds. Kerry, for her part, desperately attempts to get Chloe to stay.
As tensions rise, Chloe then drops her bombshell news on Kerry: she’s expecting a baby. How will a flabbergasted Kerry respond?
David needs customers
Amid all the potential exits, we also get David returning to the village after the storm.
Bernice’s advice is that he needs to start attracting customers again, but David can’t help but be concerned about the setback he’s experienced where his business is concerned.
