There’s peril for Mack on Emmerdale when he’s abducted and tied to a chair in an empty factory – but who is responsible? Plus, Aaron pushes Chas too far and is left shocked by her response, while Tracy is panicked that her secret affair is about to be blown open.

After an argument,  Charity is wound up when Mack Boyd [LAWRENCE ROBB] storms out and insists he won’t be back for a while. Soon, however, an unresponsive Mack sits bound to a chair in an abandoned factory…

Charity and Mack will be seen having an argument, but she’s left irritated when he ends up storming out and insisting that he won’t be back for a while.

But in subsequent scenes, viewers will see Mack sitting unresponsive and bound to a chair in a deserted factory. Who is holding him captive and what will be his fate?

Chas opens up to Charles about her loneliness and the traumatising effect of Aaron’s behaviour. But when Aaron has a further set-to with his mum, Charles insists on him showing Chas some respect. All Aaron wants to do, though, is goad Charles and his words result in a scuffle between the two men.

Later, a chagrined Charles returns to apologise to Chas about his outburst, but she’s just happy to have found a friend. Aaron, meanwhile, decides to entice Ethan and seize the opportunity to get in with Charles’s son. But Aaron once again crosses the line when he cruelly humiliates Ethan in front of his dad.

In response to all this, Chas then confronts Aaron about his attitude, but her response to the situation is set to leave him completely blindsided.

Will is left in a stunned state when Kim reveals that she played a part in Craig’s untimely demise. And even though Kim does her best to explain her side of the story, Will still feels completely betrayed. Can he keep her secret?

The next day, Will finds a drunk Kim slumped against Dawn’s birthing pool. And when she staggers off to be sick, he starts to fret about the state she’s got herself into. But as all this is unfolding, there’s drama at the Christmas fair where Dawn’s contractions have started.

Nate wins Best Santa at the Christmas fair, but he remains completely unaware of the fact that girlfriend Tracy is playing away with Caleb.

Nicky can’t believe that the two illicit lovers are still taking such risks, but his outrage leaves Tracy panicked because he knows about the affair. Caleb, though, offers words of reassurance and says that Nicky will keep their secret. But is he right to assume that Nicky will stay quiet?

Mary is aiding a grief-stricken Gus to care for Ivy, but her concern grows when a call from the funeral director highlights the extent to which he’s struggling to cope.

Thinking she’s doing the best thing, Mary downplays Gus’s torment to Rhona, but she remains worried that Gus is reaching breaking point. And when things subsequently come to a head, Mary ends up arriving home with Gus and Ivy in tow – much to the surprise of both Marlon and Rhona.

A night of little sleep then follows due to Ivy’s crying, and while Rhona tries to maintain the peace, it’s apparent that Marlon doesn’t have much in the way of patience for his house guests.
