'Emmerdale' spoilers: Meena dead after fight with Ben? Al is kidnapped by Cain (spoilers)

Ben is in danger from a desperate Meena, plus Liv finds herself back on the booze. And Cain goes to extremes when he threatens Al.

Liv falls off the wagon

Liv finds herself tempted by the demon drink once again following a big bust-up with her brother Aaron.

The pair will be seen arguing after Aaron finds out about his sis having given Ben a bad reference in order to ruin the chances of him landing a job in Cornwall. And in the wake of the fracas, a lonely Liv ends up eyeing a bottle of vodka and eventually supping its contents.

Aaron, meanwhile, is reassuring Ben that he’s ready to move away from the village with him. And after returning to Mill Cottage to find Liv has suffered a relapse, he declares that he’s done picking up the pieces for her. So has Liv driven her brother away for good this time?

Meena killed in confrontation with Ben?

As well as being involved with the Liv-related drama, Ben will also break into the HOP office to try and uncover some new evidence of the bridge collapse. And after a protracted search, he comes across the body camera footage of the attempted drowning of Victoria.

In a panic, Ben calls Billy and asks him to come into the HOP to witness the incriminatory recordings for himself. But unbeknownst to Ben, Meena is sat with Billy at that very moment and has heard everything.

Meanwhile, Ben has interrupted Liv trying to drunkenly steal booze from the Hide and has sent her home, only for her to leave with his phone. Following this showdown, Meena turns up and makes a lunge to grab the bodycam from Ben but ends up slipping in the wine that Liv has spilled earlier.

The result of this showdown finds Meena lying lifeless on the floor, while Ben is left panicked because he doesn’t know how he should be reacting…

Cain abducts Al

Al working alongside Chas turns out to be a recipe for disaster – at least where her marriage is concerned – when he clandestinely reveals how much he wants her. But just as they’re about to kiss, in walks Marlon who immediately demands answers.

Chas is adamant that nothing is going on, but that doesn’t deter Marlon from later approaching Al and threatening repercussions should he ever drive a wedge between Chas and Paddy.

The problem for Al is that Cain has witnessed this altercation and is soon taking action by jumping Al and bundling him into a nearby van. In the aftermath, Marlon cracks and reveals all to Chas about Cain’s revenge plan.

But as she hares off to halt whatever Cain is up to, viewers will see that the village hard man has transported Al to a nearby barn where he’s intimidating him by pretending to hold a gun to his chest. With Al’s anxiety levels spiking as Cain starts issuing threats, Chas tries to stop her half-brother before he goes too far. But will she succeed?
