Emmerdale spoilers: Missing necklace causes drama, Charity lines up new man

There’s trouble for Victor on Emmerdale next week when he’s accused of stealing Manpreet’s necklace.

Plus Charity and Liam go on a date, there’s gun drama for Nate, while a hiring at the Hide annoys Gabby, who’s only just returned to the village.

Charles gets physical

Claudette and Victor have fully reconciled, but the sight of their reunion will leave Charles fuming – especially when he notices his dad’s triumphant grin.

Unable to resist being goaded, Charles then confronts his father about the way he’s wormed his way back into Claudette’s life.

But when the showdown goes from verbal to physical, it’s left to Claudette to intervene with a slap.

Victor is accused of theft

Manpreet meets with Jai and offers to return the necklace she was once given by Rishi. But when Jai turns up at the house to collect the item, it turns out to have gone missing.

Manpreet is immediately suspicious of Victor, but he acts defensive when accused.

Claudette is then left horrified when she finds the necklace in Victor’s pocket. And when Manpreet calls the police, Victor makes a hurried escape.

PC Swirling then questions Manpreet and Claudette about the theft, just as a shocked Charles arrives home to discover what’s been going on in his absence.

Charity enchants Liam

Charity’s plan is to have nothing more to do with Mack, something which the man himself will no doubt be OK with, as he’s currently happy to have survived what he sees as a misstep.

But events are to take an unexpected turn for Charity when she’s dared by Gail to proposition the next person who comes into the Woolpack. Enter Liam, who’s left slightly terrified when Charity books him for a date.

However, a rendezvous in the Hide is set to leave the GP feeling intoxicated by Charity’s charm – but does she find him equally captivating?

Illegal gun drama for Nate

When Nate finds Corey shifting a batch of illegal guns, he decides to take action, but is forced to hide them in a panic when Tracy arrives suddenly on the scene.

The trouble is, the firearms then go missing, leaving Nate at a loss as to how he’s going to explain their disappearance to Corey. Nate ends up confessing all to Tracy, who’s left fuming and pleads with Nate to not meet with the intimidating Harry, with whom Caleb has set up a meeting.

For his part, Caleb wants to put a stop to any illegal business, but when Harry’s heavies start to get physical, he knows he’s in trouble…

Suni’s new role annoys Gabby

Gabby is back from her holiday and is soon seen agreeing with Billy that they need to keep their recent indiscretion a secret.

But there’s tension for Gabby elsewhere when Victoria offers Suni the job of chef at the Hide. Gabby’s peeved by the news and vents to Jacob. And when Suni begins work, Gabby starts reacting badly while in his presence.

Busy week for Wendy

Finally, it’s all getting too much for Cathy, who’ll be seen getting tearful and opening up to Wendy about her continuing struggles.

Wendy, though, must also find time to devote to Bob, as she needs to work hard to get their relationship back on track despite his insecurities. Can their romance be salvaged?
