Emmerdale spoilers: Shock marriage split, Chloe discovers the truth

One couple end their relationship on Emmerdale next week, while Chloe makes accusations when it comes to who Al was secretly sleeping with.

Priya stands accused

Priya stands accused by Chloe of having an affair with Al. And when Amba goes missing, Chloe takes advantage of the situation when she finds the youngster and takes her to Keepers, thus engineering a showdown with Priya.

Priya ultimately proves her innocence and stands her ground, but is empathetic when Al’s bank statements do give the indication that he was playing away from home. Chloe then realises who the woman is and storms over to the Woolpack, where Chas is soon left pale and in a panic…

Will Mack admit the truth to Charity?

Chloe attends her sonogram appointment and the sound of the baby’s heartbeat leaves her welling up with emotion. Later on, Charity catches up with Chloe and promises not to reveal her secret, but in a state of blissful ignorance then asks who the father is.

ITV is currently remaining tight-lipped as to how Chloe manages to extricate herself from this uneasy confrontation. But what we can reveal is that Charity does later let slip to Mackenzie that Chloe is pregnant. Mack then has a secret chat with Chloe, who confirms the baby is his and that she’s keeping it.

She then reassures him that she won’t reveal anything, but Mack can’t help but be anxious. And when he subsequently sits Charity down for a conversation, it looks as though he’s finally set to do the right thing and reveal all…

Liam and Leyla end their marriage

Conversation between Leyla and Liam has run dry. And though they’ve tried to salvage their marriage, Liam can’t help but feel that it’s defined by tragedy, grief, loss and lies.

After reaching the conclusion that they’re no good for each other, they remove their wedding rings, crushed that their marriage has irretrievably broken down. Priya’s heart then goes out to Leyla, who’s on the edge of tears.

Samson’s struggles continue

Lydia and Sam are determined to have baby Esther be a part of their lives – despite Samson having rejected the newborn. And Amelia is certainly softening towards Sam and Leyla when she opens the gift they’ve bought for her daughter.

Samson, though, ends up feeling betrayed when he spies Lydia, Sam, Dan, Amelia and baby Esther all together at the café. But Lydia still wants Samson to get involved and makes an offer to organise the christening.

But the new dad then notices Amelia’s continuing closeness to Noah and comes away thinking he doesn’t have a role to play.

David is keeping secrets from Victoria

David secretly pockets a letter addressed to Victoria from the police ticketing office informing her of a fixed penalty notice.

But when young Harry later injures himself while in David’s care, Victoria rushes to the hospital to be with him and ends up driving through some temporary traffic lights.

After being stopped by a waiting police car, Vic concedes to a fine and points on her licence – little realising that these are in addition to the FPN that has already been issued to her. Will David come clean and admit the truth?
