Emmerdale star Chris Bisson's missing cousin is found

Emmerdale star Chris Bisson has thanked the public after his missing cousin has been found.

The actor took to Twitter earlier today (October 22) to announce that his 15-year-old cousin Sophie Collins has been missing since Saturday, requesting his followers spread the word.

He wrote: "MISSING. My cousin Sophie Collins was last seen in Dingle, Ireland 9am on Saturday. SHE IS BELIEVED TO BE IN BLACKPOOL AREA CORK She is only 15 years old If you know anything please contact us. Please RT."

But thankfully, Sophie has now been found, with Bisson thanking his fans for their support.

He wrote: "FOUND IN CORK! Thanks for all your help and RTs."

Before she was found, Sophie was last seen in Dingle, Ireland. The star's supporters immediately offered their help, with many of them in the Blackpool area joining the search for Sophie.

Relieved that Sophie was found safe and sound, Bisson's followers shared their delight at the positive news.

One person replied: "Great to hear she has been found! Great to see social media used for the good!"

While another wrote: "Aww glad she's been found safe and well Chris"

Bisson's soap co-stars also helped in the search by sharing his original tweet.

The actor currently plays Jai Sharma in the ITV soap and is also known for his previous roles of Vikram Desai in Coronation Street and Kash Karib in Shameless.
