Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher's farm, where is it and can you stay?

Former Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher opened up about life on the farm with his family for an ITV reality series.

Fletcher's Family Farm followed the actor and his wife, Liz Marsland, as they set up the farm from scratch. The couple live on their 120-acre farm together with their four young children and allowed cameras to document the highs and lows they've encountered along the way.

The series ran every Sunday morning on ITV1 for eight weeks last October. Viewers saw Kelvin, who famously played farmer Andy Sugden on Emmerdale, delve into his day-to-day life now he is a real-life farmer.

Kelvin made the move from city to the countryside for his new farming life. He and Liz took on the farm in the Peak District national park in 2022 and now combine farming with raising their four young children - Marnie, seven, Milo, four, and one-year-old twins Mateusz and Maximus.

Here's more about the farm and when you can actually visit it for yourself.

Where is the Fletcher farm?

The Fletchers live on a 120-acre farm in the picturesque village of Wincle, near Macclesfield in Cheshire. It is on the edge of the glorious Peak District National Park.

The Fletchers have loved the move to the countryside. Speaking to the MEN, Kelvin said: "It has been everything we wanted and more. It's chaotic but we thrive on it.

"I've always loved the outdoors and countryside and I always had a bit of a dream and a vision of bringing up our family on our own farm. Who would have thought it? Playing a farmer and now here I am."

Can you visit the farm?

The farm is a private farm and is not currently open to the public day-to-day. However, Kelvin and Liz have hosted open days in the past and hosted a big event for Christmas that the public could book tickets to visit.

They decided to open the farm again in 2024 for an Easter Adventure. Describing it as an "amazing experience," Kelvin said: "We got to meet so many people and realise how much of a connection we have had."

When is Fletcher's Family Farm on TV?

The last docu-series aired on ITV1 from Sunday, October 15 at 11.30am and was repeated on ITVBe on Sundays at 7pm. It has not yet been confirmed when a new series will air but you can catch up on ITVX.
