Emmerdale newcomer Dean Andrews has spoken about the violent scene ahead for Will and Dawn Taylor in tonight's double bill.

Will loses his temper this evening (May 16) when Dawn finally stands up to him over his evil attempts to get revenge against Harriet Finch.

Although the father-daughter duo have been scheming against Harriet recently, Dawn (Olivia Bromley) thinks that her dad is finally going too far after seeing the funeral service leaflets he has created.

After following Will into Woodbine Cottage, Dawn gets into a tussle with him. The incident ends badly when she hits her head on the table.

Speaking about the drama in store tonight, Dean explained: "Will and Dawn have a tussle. Dawn is not doing what Will needs her to do.

"Will comes to see Harriet, but Dawn walks through the door and it's not progressing the way he wants it to progress. It's a bit of a stumble-y kind of altercation.

"Dawn hits her head and he's like: 'Don't worry, it's only a scratch'. His only focus is to get to Harriet. But even though he loves her, I don't think Will has been the best dad to Dawn so far."

Asked whether Will feels guilty for hurting Dawn, Dean replied: "Oh, yes, of course. But it's kind of an accident rather than him hitting her. He goes off with more anger in him and then he meets Harriet."

Tonight's double bill features the shocking moment that Will tries to crush Harriet with a coffin at the church.

Show bosses have already confirmed that Harriet (thankfully) survives the incident, as she's alive and well to oversee Zak and Lisa Dingle's wedding ceremony next week.

Dean added: "They go through the whole story. Will tells Harriet that he loved her and couldn't believe she betrayed him. Why would you double cross someone that you love?

"It goes through that question of: 'Were they in love or were they playing at being in love?' Well, Will was obviously in love, but whether she was or not, I don't know."

Emmerdale airs tonight at 7pm and 8pm on ITV.
