Emmerdale Suni actor's real life from blockbuster to hidden talent

Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana joined the Emmerdale cast in July last year and took on the role as Suni Sharma. Suni made his dramatic entrance during Jai Sharma's wedding and was first introduced as his cousin.

In a shocking plot twist, it was later revealed that the two are actually Jai’s half-brothers. As Suni settled into the village, he struck up a romance with Nicky however things haven't been smooth sailing for the pair as Suni was previously beaten up by a homophobic bully.

Things are set to get even more dramatic as the two characters are set to contemplate their exit from the village.

Nicky has been struggling to bond with his parents Caleb and Ruby as they haven't fully accepted his new relationship.

Things have only got worse after being hospitalised and Ruby’s involvement in Ethan’s death. According to reports Suni and Nicky consider relocating.

What shows has Brahmedo been on?

Away from the soap, Brahmdeo's real life is a lot less dramatic. The actor is well known for his role in ITV hit series The Bay. He he played boxer Saif Rahman in four episodes of the gritty crime show.

He has also appeared in a number of blockbuster films including, Ant-Man And The Wasp, Medusa - Queen Of The Serpents and Enola Holmes 2, starring Millie Bobby Brown.

Hidden talent

Acting aside, Brahmdeo likes to showcase his comedic talents in creative sketches on TikTok, The Mirror reports.

The actor often leave his followers in stitches with his relatable takes on life. His regular cheeky impersonations is a "city banker f*** boy" have proven particularly popular, with Brahmdeo imagining the character in a number of scenarios, from Christmas romcoms to first dates.
