Emmerdale's Ruby star gushes over 'beautiful' soap actor beau in rare loved-up post

Emmerdale star Beth Cordingly has shared a gushing tribute to her 'beautiful' actor beau after revealing she is 'very in love'. The actress made her first appearance in the Dales at the start of the year as Ruby Fox-Milligan, the wife of Caleb Milligan and mother to their son Nicky.

The father and son duo arrived in the ITV soap's fictional Yorkshire village back in 2022 in a ploy to try and fleece Kim Tate of Home Farm, which Caleb believed to be his birthright as he was revealed to be the son of Kim's ex Frank Tate and the late Dingle matriarch Faith Dingle.

But Ruby's arrival quickly ruffled feathers - particularly among the Dingles after she got a of the green-eyed monster when exposing her husband's affair with his nephew's wife Tracy Robinson.

Away from the ITV soap, however, Beth's in a much more loved-up relationship with fellow actor Ian Kelsey, who previously played Dave Glover in Emmerdale. They have been in a relationship for three years and Beth previously said that the former soap star was ‘really supportive’ when she landed the role.

"Ian was really supportive and wanted me to do it, which is lovely. There is that thing as an actor where you are always taken away from home," she said. "But he totally gets it. He knows a lot of the crew and cast and so it’s lovely to be able to share what I’ve been up to, knowing he understands.

"That’s important when you are away and he is always keen to find out how filming has gone each day. We are both very supportive of each other’s careers which is important when it is such a competitive industry." Beth and Ian, who have known each other for over two decades, added to The Mirror: "I am very in love with Ian and very happy."

Now, taking to Instagram, Beth shared a sweet message as she celebrated her and Ian's anniversary. Sharing adorable pictures of the pair, Beth said: "Happy anniversary, you beautiful man. You make me smile this big. (And occasionally like an insane person. As in this picture here. Fortunately, you seem ok with my diversions from sanity. Thank god for you.) I love you."

And her fans and followers were quick to respond to the sweet update. @gingerjedi_18 said: "Happy anniversary... dave glover needs to get back to emmerdale to get revenge on Kim state." @adam_crown commented: "You both won the couples lottery. Ridiculously top work both."
