England's participation in June’s Nations League finals will not be broadcast on terrestrial television.

The Three Lions qualified for the final stage of Uefa's inaugural tournament after Sunday's 2-1 win over Croatia confirmed them as a group winners ahead of Spain.

Gareth Southgate's side will participate in the semi-finals and could face one of the Netherlands, Switzerland or the hosts of the finals, Portugal.

England's qualification comes as a boost for Sky, who own the rights for the four-team mini-tournament, having beaten ITV in the initial bidding.

The broadcasting giant have provided live coverage of all four of England's group stage games with the in-game commentary headed up by Martin Tyler and Gary Neville.

ITV will broadcast the highlights, while the BBC’s involvement is restricted to live radio coverage. Neither BBC or ITV are likely to try to see if they can show live games.

Sky’s package also includes the 2021 Nations League, although ITV retain the rights to broadcast England’s games in qualifying for both Euro 2020 and the 2022 World Cup.

The Nations League Finals draw will take place in Dublin at 2.30pm on December 3, with the fixtures scheduled to take place between June 5-9.
