English National Ballet: save up to 50% on tickets

This January, English National Ballet returns to the London Coliseum with two captivating double bills featuring three iconic ballets.

Central to both double bills is La Sylphide - a beautiful jewel in the history of ballet. In August Bournonville’s Romantic classic, young love is threatened by desire. On his wedding day to Effy, young Scotsman James is drawn into a dangerous and fateful infatuation with a mysterious fairy-like Sylphide.

Paired with La Sylphide (9 – 13 January) is Kenneth MacMillan’s masterpiece Song Of The Earth, set to Mahler’s haunting song cycle Das Lied von der Erde. In a second double bill (16 – 20 January), La Sylphide is paired with Roland Petit’s searing work Le Jeune Homme et la Mort, another ballet with a tantalising temptress who taunts her object of desire.

We’ve teamed up with the English National Ballet to offer readers the chance to save up to 50% on tickets for any performance in the dress and upper circle when booking before 7 January 2018.
