The Essex farm party with duck handling, tractor rides and cannon shooting

As the sunshine is well and truly here, families are on the hunt for days out. After 40 years of farming, Barleylands Farm Park offers adventures, parties, and goat yoga, with the child-friendly farm having a massive blow-out party to celebrate being the place to go for families.

With 40 years running, the Billericay based farm has chick and duck handling, tractor rides, party games and cannon shooting. There’ll be singers, food stalls, biscuit decorating, and a foam party. The party will be spilling out from the farm park and into all of their Craft Village shops and their monthly market.

Invitations are out on their website, as the party is planned for Sunday, June 30, welcoming guests to book tickets online. They say on their website: “Expect a great family fun day out, filled with entertainment, singers, food stalls and trails.”

Booking online in advance will save you 15% for tickets to the event, but if you’re feeling like you want to soak in the madness, without getting stuck in, you can join the free trail around the village shops- with sweets for the kids- and chill around the market without a ticket.

There are also over 40 food and craft stalls to really get you out of the house and spending some proper quality time with the little ones.
