Euro 2021: Italy top Group A, Wales scrape qualification on goal difference

The final round of Euro 2021 group stage matches has begun. Italy finished top of Group A after beating Wales 1-0 in Rome. The Dragons clinched automatic qualification for the last 16 despite that loss, pipping Switzerland to the post on goal difference. However, Switzerland have set themselves up in a good position for a best third-placed spot in the knockout stages after beating Turkey 3-1.
