Euromillions: £107.9m Winner To Be Revealed

The sole winner of last Friday's multi-million EuroMillions prize is to be revealed at a news conference later this morning.

The car mechanic from Coulsdon, Surrey, had the winning ticket which has netted him £107.9m - the fourth largest amount so far.

The mystery man, who is also said to be a racing driver, will reveal his plans at the news conference.

After the lucky punter produced his ticket, a National Lottery spokesman said: "We're delighted Friday's ticket-holder has come forward to claim this amazing prize.

"This massive win ranks fourth biggest on the National Lottery rich list and is the first EuroMillions jackpot to be won here in the UK so far this year."

The vast sum of money could buy any amount of luxuries, including the Greek island of Omfori, currently on sale for around £41m and a Lamborghini Veneno, one of the world's most expensive cars at a cost of £2.4m, and still leave plenty of change.

Closer to home, the winner could invest in a 21-bedroom home in Mayfair, one of the capital's most exclusive areas, which is on the market for £90m.

Colin and Chris Weir, who won a £161m EuroMillions jackpot in July 2011 are still top of the list for UK lottery winners.

Friday's winning numbers were 6, 24, 25, 27 and 30, with the Lucky Star numbers 5 and 9.
