Dogs at polling stations for the European elections 2019
As voters turned out for the European elections so did their dogs.
An array of breeds were seen as pet owners took their animals along as they marked their ballots.
The hashtag "dogs at polling stations" has been popularised in recent years and was used widely once again today.
Some used their dog photos to encourage people to head out to vote.
