Eurovision 2024 Semi-Final 2 results and full list of countries who qualified for final
The 26 nations that will be appearing in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 have now been decided.
The second semi-final took place on Thursday night with 16 countries performing their songs in front of a live audience and millions watching at home across the world.
Viewers at home got the chance to vote for their favorite with 10 making it through. They join the 10 other countries that already qualified in Tuesday's semi-final, as well as hosts Sweden and the big five of the UK, France, Italy, Spain and Germany, in Saturday night's final. asdas
In total 37 countries entered the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 - the 68th time the competition has been held. France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK also get to compete in Saturday's final without having to qualify. This is because these are the group of countries that make the biggest financial contributions to the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) which owns and operates Eurovision.

The six countries that failed to qualify after Thursday's semi-final were Malta, Albania, Czechia, Denmark, San Marino and Belgium.

Representing the UK in the final is former Years & Years singer Olly Alexander with his song Dizzy. The final takes place at Malmo Arena in Sweden on Saturday night. It is being hosted by former Eurovision singer Petra Mede and Swedish actress Malin Åkerman.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2024 final takes place on Saturday, May 11. It will be broadcast live on BBC One and BBC iPlayer with Graham Norton hosting and commentating for UK viewers.
On BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds, Scott Mills and Rylan will be leading the commentary. Coverage across the BBC will start at 8pm.
