Eurovision fans say 'crown them now' as Switzerland's Nemo performs in semi-final

Eurovision sees a variety of wacky and interesting acts and this is one of the reasons millions tune in to watch the iconic contest. In the second semi-final of 2024, Switzerland's Nemo impressed with his performance of The Code.

Risking it all with some impressive staging, that saw him balancing on a spinning disk while performing opera at the top of his lungs, many fans and the studio audience in Malmo were impressed with his performance. Eurovision 2024 is being held in Sweden, Malmo, after Swedish artist Loreen won the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest with her catchy song Tattoo, and the live grand final will take place on Saturday, May 11.

A fifth said: "Switzerland - great staging and great voice #Eurovision2024". Switzerland are already being seen as a possible winner of the whole competition alongside Ireland who qualified for the live final for the first time in eight years.

Their act, Bambie Thug, who were performing Doomsday Blue, put on a very interesting show in the first semi-final. Combining hyperpop, electro-metal and screamcore, it will either stop you in your tracks or send you running for the hills. Their performance is one for the ages.

Dressed as a witch, influenced by all things horror, Bambie Thug were accompanied by very strong lighting as they leapt around the stage and screamed some of their lyrics. You can read more, here.
