And now, in a fresh update, Olly has spoken about how the blunder left him feeling "quite stressed," and admitted he wasn't able to perform to the best of his ability because of it. Speaking to his 764K on his Instagram Story, Olly said: "Eurovision updates, semi-final one was last night, I performed, it was good, I had a slight... well my mic pack fell out halfway through the performance so I had to catch it and it just kind of threw me off.

"So I was worried I would... there were just elements of the routine I couldn't really do as well as I would have liked, I was quite stressed my pack was going to fall off entirely."

He continued: "Anyway, it doesn't matter, that is the thrill of live music and television, anything can happen." Olly also shared his heartbreak over the countries that didn't make it through to the grand final.

He said: "The show was amazing, so many amazing contestants and they all did so well, and it's so heartbreaking that anyone had to go home because they work so hard. The preparation, the months of rehearsals, and everything that goes into it, so it was sad that anybody had to go but they did so well, everyone was so good."

The 33-year-old finished off by saying: "I'm quite tired really, on a deep, emotional, spiritual level." The countries that failed to qualify for the grand final were Poland, Iceland, Moldova, Azerbaijan, and Australia. You can see the full list of qualifiers here.
