Eurovision Song Contest 2024 results in full as Switzerland win in Malmo
So the Eurovision Song Contest is over for another year and we have a new champion Switzerland's Nemo, their song The Code.
Over the last few weeks, the acts and delegations from 37 different countries have descended on the Swedish city of Malmo for the biggest music competition in the world. And, after a week of hotly contested semi finals, it all came down to Saturday night's final.
Ten acts qualified from the first semi final, with another 10 following them into the finale from the second heat on Thursday. They joined the Big 5 - UK, Spain, France, Germany and Italy- and the host nation Sweden in the line-up, although there was some last ditch drama as the number of countries was cut from 26 to 25, with Netherlands being disqualified just hours before the final.
