Evacuation Orders Issued as Crews Battle Post Fire in Los Angeles County
Evacuation orders were in place for several areas as a wildfire near Gorman in Los Angeles County, California, grew to 14,625 acres with 2 percent containment late on Sunday, June 16.
The blaze, called the Post Fire, was reported just before 2 pm on Saturday, according to officials.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department issued evacuation orders for “areas west of Interstate 5 between Pyramid Lake and Gorman, including the Hungry Valley State Vehicular Recreation Area.”
