Evacuations Ordered as Walla Walla, Washington, Floods

A mandatory evacuation order was issued Friday, February 7, for residents of Washington state’s Walla Walla County near Mill Creek, which has been flooding the area, the Union-Bulletin News reported.

The National Weather Service (NWS) extended a flood warning for Walla Walla County and the neighboring region of Pendleton, Oregon, until 9.30 pm on Friday.

Numerous roads are closed, the NWS said.
