Every Premier League free-agent this summer in a market Middlesbrough could look to
Middlesbrough will be hoping to strengthen their squad this summer in order to push for promotion back to the Premier League.
With the Championship play-offs now pretty much out of reach for Michael Carrick's side, attentions have turned towards the summer and the work to be done to add to the positive aspects of this season and make a serious pitch for a top-six finish at the least next term. And with many players likely to be available to pick up for nothing at the start of July when their contracts at current clubs expire, the free-agent market is always worth exploring.
Having previously looked at the Championship players due to be available for free this summer, we now turn our attentions to top-flight players. While some may be unrealistic prospects for Boro, some could indeed come in and strengthen Boro's squad for next season. Here's every Premier League player currently due to be out of contract this summer.
