If you're as big of a fan of Dev Patel as we are, then get ready because he's set to star in an explosive new action movie, Monkey Man.

The film, which Dev also produced and directed, follows an amateur fighter seeking revenge against the corrupt leaders who murdered his mother and target the underclasses of society. Think fight scenes, shoot outs and thrilling tension!

What is Monkey Man about?

The synopsis for the film is as follows, "Inspired by the Hindu legend of Hanuman, an icon embodying strength and courage, Monkey Man stars Patel as Kid, an anonymous young man who ekes out a meager living in an underground fight club where, night after night, wearing a gorilla mask, he is beaten bloody by more popular fighters for cash.

"After years of suppressed rage, Kid discovers a way to infiltrate the enclave of the city’s sinister elite. As his childhood trauma boils over, his mysteriously scarred hands unleash an explosive campaign of retribution to settle the score with the men who took everything from him."

There is! The action-packed trailer sees Dev's character on his journey of revenge and includes brutal fight scenes, chases and more, with the iconic party song, 'Mundian to Bach Ke' by Punjabi MC and Jay-Z, playing in the background.
