Following on from the release of Nobody Is Listening in 2021, the former One Direction star has been teasing his upcoming project for a few months now and honestly, we can barely contain our excitement!

Is Zayn Malik releasing a new album?
Yes, he is! On 13th March, he shared the news of his brand new album, titled Room Under The Stairs, on Instagram. Um, is that a Harry Potter reference? We need to know!
On 6th March, he teased the release and said in a post, "I think the intention behind this album fully is for the listener to get more insight on me personally as a human being, my ambitions, my fears, and for them to have a connection with that."
"And that's why it's so raw, you know, it's just me writing this. I didn't want anyone else to be in between me and the music, and the music and the people listening to it," he continued. OMG!
Speaking to Rolling Stone while promoting his single with Pakistani group AUR, he shared: "I’m doing a record I don’t think people are really gonna expect.
"It’s a different sound for me and it’s got some more narrative going on, like real-life experiences and stuff," he continued. "My daughter’s mentioned in there a couple of times." Can't wait!
What's on the track list for Zayn's new album?
On 6th March, he teased a new song on his Instagram with a snippet including lyrics like, "If I told you I loved you, would you say that it's f***** up?" Can't wait to listen to the full thing!
We would also expect his most recent singles to make an appearance on the new album, such as dance track 'Love Like This' which dropped in July 2023.
Most recently, he released an Urdu-language song, 'Tu Hai Kahan', with Pakistani boyband AUR so that might feature on the new record, too.
Plus, he's the king of collabrations having worked with Kehlani, PARTYNEXTDOOR and M.I.A, so we could expect some sick features.
